"I love root beer so much that while living in England a few years ago, I got a little terrier puppy and named him Rootie. While there, my root beer sources dried up and I was forced to do without. When I got back to the United States I started making my own to serve in my restaurants. Now I’m pleased to share with you my best batch ever. Rootie and I know you’ll love it. Enjoy!"

Review

We like Gale's!  (We also like the chef's attitude: "There's something about root beer that makes the world a better place," she says.)  This is a subtly spicy brew, very complex with cinnamon tones and aftertaste.  Pleasantly tasty, this is one of my favorite root beers.

Ingredients: carbonated water, high fructose corn sweetener, caramel color, natural and artificial flavoring, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla extract, phosphoric acid, potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate added as preservatives. 12 oz., 160 calories, 41 g carbohydrates, 41 g sugars.
