Lo-Cal Root Beer Soda
"Our reduced
calorie Root Beer Soda gets its rich, creamy flavor from a touch of pure
honey. Vanilla and a host of flavorful and aromatic botanicals are
combined in our hand-made, gads-fired brew kettle imparting complexity to our
delicious soda. For optimum enjoyment, serve in frosted mugs."

Review
A rooty nose was a presage of fine things to come, unfortunately not one lived up to. Small bubbles meant a burning first sip. Some rooty things going on here, but not much sweetness at all, even a little bitter. Complex taste, but being complex doesn't get it beyond tasting lousy. "The flavor doesn't hold in your mouth," said Nancy. "It goes watery." A dry after-taste familiar to those who drink diet sodas, with a little bitterness as a finish. Uggh. Stick with Sprecher's regular root beer.
