Review

        Sweet nose, medicinal first hit with dry-mouth follow-through.  A soft beginning with wintergreen building through the middle into a strong aftertaste.  Better than most supermarket root beers, though still undistinguished.

Ingredients:  carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sugar, caramel coloring, sodium benzoate (a preservative), citric acid, natural and artificial flavors.  12 oz. can, 160 calories, 50 mg sodium, 40 g carbohydrates, 40 g as sugars.  Caffeine free.

 

Acquired:  From Save-Mart in Los Banos, California, $0.50 per can.
