This is the older version of what is today known as Steaz. Apparently the same item...

Review
First off, a disclaimer. This is sold as root beer-flavored "green tea soda," so I'm not sure it should be judged among the root beers. But seeing as it has "root beer" in big letters across the front, we got it and we're going to review it.
Very sweet, molasses-like nose. Nice, sweet heavy molasses beginning, thinning to a tea-like aftertaste, which is actually quite pleasant. Nicely carbonated so that the fizz doesn't get in your way. Smooth and tasty, though there is not much root here.
It is definitely a "tea soda" as well as a root beer, but even purists like me won't mind it, it's tasty.
