Review

        This was the most popular root beer ever in our Cole Family Christmas Root Beer taste-off, finishing nearly a full point above its nearest competitor in our cumulative rankings as a result of its impressive showing at the 2002 Taste-off.  Sprecher swept the field, ranked first in over-all taste and over-all mouthfeel (as well as many of their constituents such as sweetness, rootiness and smoothness).  We loved the honey taste and the spicy after-taste.  This was the ninth (and final) beer we tasted in 2002, and it was a welcome relief to find a great brew at the end of a long road.

        Luke liked its full-bodied flavor, its a Top 10 brew.

Ingredients: carbonated water, fructose corn syrup, malto dextrin, raw Wisconsin honey, natural and artificial flavors, vanilla, phosphoric acid, sodium benzoate (a preservative). 16 oz. bottle, 220 calories, 54 g total carbohydrates, 54 g sugars, 40 mg sodium.
