Review

        This is a local micro-brewery where you can brew your own beer.  The hands-on quality of the place, in Alexandria, led me to be hopeful about the root beer, but I was a little disappointed.  Strong rooty, spicy nose.  Big strong wintergreen initial impression, fizzing through to a honey-tasting finish, then on to a stronger wintergreen aftertaste.  An interesting, muscly brew, a little heavy on the wintergreen (or whatever tastes like wintergreen).  The first sips are refreshing, but the wintergreen starts working overtime and the last sips are less pleasurable.
