Luke's Root Beer Reviews
Rat Bastard
Root Beer
"Tastes
like a son of a bitch" (far left bottle)
"It's us against them" (middle)
"Makes you feel like something you're not" (near left)
"spread your lips and ingest"
Skeleteens/Eat Me Foods, Los Angeles, California
("Left in the bottle for Skeleteens/Eat Me Foods at a factory somewhere in Los Angeles... we don't have a phone or even a pager anymore.")
Certainly among the most fun of root beer slogans, there are a number of different Rat Bastard bon mots to choose among; we have found at least three. Unfortunately, their attitude towards the world ("It's us against them") may have lapsed over into their root beer making.
Review
Faint nose. Grassy initial taste, grassy middle. I'm trying, but I can't get much more than grassy (roots growing upward?). Not very sweet, even, just grassy. Wintergreen aftertaste. Small bubbles.
