Review
Fragrant sweet nose. Fruity lead, smooth, then drops into an odd midrange. More carbonation follows, with a faint wintergreen to the flat aftertaste. Quite nice for a supermarket brew, but not complex or particularly interesting. Nancy says, "wintergreen, vanilla, nice carbonation -- not terrible root beer for a cheapo."

Ingredients: Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, sodium benzoate (preservative), citric acid, natural and artificial flavor. 12 ounce can: 190 calories, 25 mg sodium, 48 g carbohydrates, 48 g from sugars.
Acquired: Prairie Market, Rapid City, South Dakota. $1.97/12 pack of 12 oz. cans. Such a bargain!
Available: Other Prairie Markets? Nash Finch Company owns a number of chains in the upper midwest, including Econofoods, Family Food Center, and Sun Mart stores, so presumably one could find this house-brand root beer there, too.
