Check out Mystic Seaport's Sarsaparilla and Root Beer as well. They all have distinct tastes. This Birch Beer, for example, has clove and sweet birch as ingredients, while the Sarsaparilla has cassia.
Review
Strong medicinal nose. Very strong medicinal first hit, fading into wintergreen. Wintergreen strongly throughout. Fairly harsh wintergreen lead in further sips, it is the almost bitter dominant flavor. Less smooth than the Seaport's Sarsaparilla. Carbonation is not a factor, the wintergreen hit cuts into the smoothness.
