Review

        Medicinal, burnt sugar nose, very interesting.  Burnt sugar lead, with wintergreen highlights.  Sudsy head.  Smooth with carbonation adding texture, though sometimes a little overpowering in the bubbly finish.  The aftertaste is a competition between the pleasant burnt sugar flavor and the ultimately victorious, but not as pleasing, wintergreen.  Thin, and somewhat dry, but satisfying for what it is -- a supermarket soda that is better than many specialty and national brands.  "Nice carbonation, very vanilla finish," says Nancy.  "A little thin at the end, but I quite like it."

Ingredients:  carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, sodium benzoate (as a preservative), phosphoric acid and natural and artificial flavor.  2 liter plastic bottle (67.6 oz.).  Per 12 oz.:  165 calories, 45 mg sodium, 44 g carbohydrates, 44 g from sugars.
