A local Philadelphia institution for more than a century, this was the root beer distributed at Levis Hot Dog stand. And that's "Levis," as in Abe Levis, not Levi's as you might think.
Review
Little nose, little bubbles. Fairly rooty initially, not very sweet, taste is more complex than it first seems. Slight wintergreen aftertaste, not much going on there, either, though. Good burping potential. My guess is that this tastes better from the tap at the Levis stand in Philly!
