Review
Rooty nose. Bubbly lead, with a winter-green midrange that drops into a slightly aspartame-like after-taste. The carbonation gets in the way of the taste, it is front and center. Taste evolves through the glass -- sweeter middle. Vague honey tones trying to break through, too. This is a decent microbrew, but the elements never quite hang together, they are competing instead. Major burps from that over-active carbonation. As Nancy notes, "first you get a blast of carbonation that has a hint of winter-green, then you go to the sweet aftertaste -- the flavors aren't big enough in the middle to carry it."
