Review

        Rooty nose.  Very sweet initial hit, complex rooty taste, more interesting than your usual beer.  There is a lot going on here.  Aftertaste is uneven, and changed from pleasant at the beginning of the can to more wintergreeny and aggressive at the end.  Small bubbles make the carbonation burn a little, but make for good burps.  I am not usually a fan of "natural" sodas, but this is the best "natural" root beer I've tried.

Ingredients:  pure triple filtered carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, natural spices of wintergreen, birch, anise, sassafras, Tahitian vanilla extract, citric acid.  12 oz. can, 160 calories, 0 mg sodium, 43 g carbohydrates, 43 g from sugars.
