Fitz's Draft
Root Beer
Fitz's
Bottling Company, 6605 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri 63130
314-726-9555
Nancy and I journeyed to the brewery on a Missouri trip in October 2004. We had tried Fitz's in a bottle, and liked it, but wanted to try it straight from the tap. We were well rewarded. I went back in April 2005, as well.
Review
Delicately carbonated, very smooth. Heavy, herby lead, a little too strong in the root department. Sweetness comes around in the mid-range, wintergreen comes in around the edges into a mellow aftertaste. Fine root beer.
