This is a popular pizza spot and brew pub, with three locations along the Southern California coast north of San Diego. I visited the Solana Beach location, which was hopping with young slightly drunken pizza eaters on a Thursday night. The menu said root beers were $1.50, although I was charged $2.00 for mine (I didnt notice the menu price until later).
Review:
A dish-suds nose, slightly soapy. Honey lead, no carbonation to speak of, thus very very smooth but not much interesting mouthfeel. Subtle wintergreen and a few herbs in a sparkly finish. Kind of soapy aftertaste. A smooth, nice brew. I'll try the pizza next time.
