"Bailey's Beads: As the Sun is disappearing completely the Sunlight shining between the mountains of the moon breaks up into sections of brilliant light. |
The Shadow Bands: Just prior to the total eclipse, a series of shadows sweep over the surface of the fields. Watch for them and also the stars that appear during totality. |

The Corona: After the Sun is blotted out, the beautiful spectacle, the Corona appears. Streamers of pearl colored light extend out across the dark heavens."
