I have found two different viewers for the January 24, 1925 eclipse.
The photo below is of William Jennings Bryan, former Populist and Democratic presidential candidate and Woodrow Wilson's Secretary of State, viewing the January 1925 eclipse. Later in 1925, Bryan argued the creationist side of the Scopes "Monkey" trial in Tennessee (he died a week after winning the trial against John Scopes -- perhaps the creator had the last laugh).
